Hello Foodaholics! Hello world! Here's another pork recipe I would like to share to all of you. Nilagang Baboy or Boiled Pork-- an easy recipe that you can enjoy. I also recommend this dish for other Foodaholics who just started exploring their culinary talents. All you have to do is put everything in the pot and let it cook until tender. This recipe is good in any kind of weather.
Ingredients
1 kilo pork, cut into pieces
8-10 cups water

1 onion, quartered
1/4 tsp. peppercorn
salt to taste
fish sauce
2 big potatoes, quartered
banana plantain (saba)
pechay (bok choy) or cabbage leaves

Cooking Procedures :
- Place pork in a big pot with water. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let it simmer until pork is tender for about an hour.
- Add sliced onions, peppercorn and season with fish sauce and salt.
- Add quartered potatoes. Cook until tender.
- Add the banana plantain (saba). Simmer for 5 minutes
- Add pechay or cabbage leaves. Do not overcook the green vegetables.
- Remove from heat. Serve hot.
